| Employment Services Program |
The ESP program was started in 1990. We provide services to people diagnosed with developmental disabilities who are referred to us by support coordinators, the county office, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, family members, schools, primary care givers and self-referrals. Consumers vary in age from 21 to 50+. We have an average of 85% success rate in placing individuals in to jobs of interest. Some examples include food service, janitorial, stock, clerk and housekeeping.
Our goal is to provide quality services by offering and training individuals to meaningful, skillful and competitively paid jobs in the community. A vocational profile is done so that each individual will be trained according to their needs/skills and will be given the opportunity to choose what type of job they are interested in working and what location. We also provide community based work assessment, job development, job analysis, job placement, on-the-job training and long-term follow-along services.
We have a team approach to all aspects of placement and we look forward to having you join us.
