Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program  Services

Alcohol & Drug Education & Family Counseling Program

If you or a family member are feeling out of control due to alcohol or drug use, we offer hope and help through our comprehensive program of practical services. Our counselors provide caring, compassionate, and skillful help in dealing with the problems of alcohol and drug abuse. Interac's Alcohol and Drug Abuse Education and Family Counseling program offers a number of services to aid in the recovery from substance abuse.

Individual Counseling may be recommended to help an individual learn coping skills, stress management and other techniques to address their drug and alcohol issues.

In addition, Interac's program focuses on supporting the family unit. Family Counseling helps all family members develop new ways of dealing with the pressures that contribute to substance abuse.

Group Therapy is another important form of treatment. Interac offers a variety of groups which teach life skills, assertiveness skills, and provide support for spouses and partners. Interac also offers a free drug and alcohol Education Group weekly.

Interac's staff can also provide information and referrals for the substance dependent individual who may need additional services such as detoxification or inpatient rehabilitation.

For more information or to make an appointment, contact Interac's Centralized Intake Unit at (215) 487-1330.
