The Mental Health Walk-In Crisis Intervention Service is designed to provide help for individuals and/or families who are experiencing a crisis for which immediate intervention is needed. Individuals may request help for themselves or for someone else (such as a family member) who is in crisis. A person in crisis may have experienced a recent change in thinking, behavior, mood or social relationships.
Crisis services include an immediate appointment with a mental health professional, brief treatment, supportive counseling and assistance in accessing needed resources. Referrals may be given for mental health treatment (psychiatric/medication evaluation, counseling, partial hospitalization, case management, or psychiatric hospitalization), medical assessment/treatment, legal aid, and/or social service needs.
This service is accessible to anyone in the community by calling (215) 487-1330.
Location : 6122 Ridge Avenue, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19128
Hours : 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
