All of Interac's Children's Services are individually designed and provided in a manner that is child-centered, family focused, culturally appropriate and community based.
To receive services at Interac, the child or adolescent will first receive an intake evaluation, to determine which, if any, of Interac's services would be most appropriate - a decision agreed upon by the Intake Coordinator, the parent/guardian and the child. Services include Outpatient Counseling, Partial Hospitalization and Home/Community Services.
Outpatient Counseling Services support families and assist children who exhibit a wide variety of emotional or behavioral concerns.
The Partial Hospitalization program provides structured therapeutic activities after school and during the Summer for children who need more structure than Outpatient Counseling can provide.
Home/Community Services are designed for children and adolescents who require intensive intervention at the sites where their problematic behaviors occur, including school, home and other sites in the community.
For more information or to make a referral, contact Interac's Centralized Intake Unit at (215) 487-1330.
