Children's Behavioral Health Services

The fundamental goal of Interac's Children's Behavioral Health Services is to help families become more empowered in caring for their children, thereby preventing the need for more restrictive interventions such as inpatient hospitalization or residential placement.

Services provided include Outpatient Counseling,  Home & Community Services (formerly known as Wrap-around Services or EPSDT). All services are child-centered and family-focused with the goal of increasing the child's ability to cope with his/her environment. Interagency collaboration is often needed to address the complex needs of a child.

Outpatient Counseling Services support families and assist children who exhibit a wide variety of emotional or behavioral concerns.

Home/Community Services are designed for children who require intensive intervention at the sites where their problematic behaviors occur, such as school or home.

For more information or to make a referral, contact Interac's Centralized Intake Unit at (215) 487-1330.
